Baseline: (The student’s) writing, using a 6-trait writing rubric, is assessed at 3.17 (4 point scale).
Writing Standard 1 – The student writes for a variety of audiences, purposes, and contexts. Benchmark 4: The student produces written language. Goal: (In 36 instructional weeks, the student) will complete a minimum of four writing projects (or the equivalent) on topics of her choice which meet state standards at or above grade level and an assessment of at least 3.75 on the attached writing rubric.
